nogoddess through the quick login, but I can't retrieve the password, so I've changed username for that. I'll post my old account though for proof!
Canon point changes (If any): None.
Additional history that happened since the last application (their history at the school before they left, what happened and caused them to return): In Furiae's time at the school, she reunited with her brother, Caim, who had become a teacher at the school, as well as met a grown-up version of the person responsible for her death, Manah. Caim helped her, Manah and Furiae freaked out at the sight of each other. Awesome.
With Caim's help, Furiae learnt some use of the technology found in the choose, such as using a computer. After some time at the school, she did use this to learn some more about the world she had found herself in. For Furiae, it was still hard to accept Smash Academy and its reality as real. For the young woman who had spent the last five years as a Goddess, a title that came with a seal that caused her pain in her everyday life, to be free of all of that was hard to allow to sink in.
Plus, you know, remembering the feeling of death before coming to this place doesn't help entirely, even if a place like Smash Academy was far from a perfect world to Furiae.
So for Furiae, she was having quite the time settling in and changing. Though freedom was something she always wanted, it wasn't something she was able to just grab and take advantage of right away. However, she enjoyed that her brother was there with her, and having him there nearby allowed her some happiness despite what she felt inside. And outside, when a trip outside to view the cherry blossoms with her brother caused a confrontation with Manah. Thankfully bloodshed was avoided that day (Though it took a lot to convince Caim).
Also this is probably a little muddled with the history, but I had been keeping up with her Smash Academy history here. There was a log where she was going to have some time with a girl called Ai (from Pikmin), but it was unfinished so I don't want to say anything about that until I can conclude something about it with the player/see if she wants to handwave it or what. Sorry for the trouble!
As for the excuse of what made her disappear.... AWIZARD MAGICAL EXCUSE DID IT. And now she's back and she doesn't know what (i am uncreative at excuses). I don't want to say she just left or anything since it was my fault for her disappearing in thin air, so I'd rather it just be something like... that. Like she went through a door and came back out in November. idek.
Personality Changes: I wouldn't say there was much time to allow her to change. During her time in the game, Furiae was still struggling with understanding what was going on. She was free of the seal (so no longer in pain), but she was very much lost with understanding herself and if to accept the world she had found herself in.
In-Character 1st person sample: The season is different... it is colder than I remember it. Can anybody tell me what day it is?
It... I know my request is strange, but something is wrong. I can feel it...
My brother... does anyone know where he is? He told me he teaches at the school. His name is Caim.
Please, if anyone could help me...
In-Character 3rd person sample: A world, one that was not Furiae's own. In its blue sky rose and fell a sun of the same kind she knew from her own world, replaced only by a complete darkness or the scattering of stars. On the ground was grass as green her memory remembered it, and small white flowers were dotted here and there in the same manner as well. So similar was this world to her own, and yet it all felt as completely foreign to Furiae as everything else.
It wasn't in the obvious, in the way people spoke and dressed- nor in the way the buildings stood scattered far and wide with architecture unlike the castle she had lived in for so long. No... it was the how, the way she could hear them speak, how they their laughs and murmurs sounded to her; it was the way that the buildings bustled, how the people would walk, and how she could walk amongst them as nothing more than another person.
The Goddess, the seal, to be unknown... with the chance to be a person like any other. It was like a wish that had finally be answered. A world occupied by no bloodshed that she knew of, a world that asked her to take on no obligations. It was surreal in how simple it all appeared to her.
But maybe that was why Furiae found herself too scared to reach out and accept it, lest it crumbled away before her. She had died, after all. Death didn't offer a second chance, did it? Even though the pain of the curse had left her body, even though...
Yet for all her doubts, there was one who made her not want to question if this life was true or false. The one who made her feel safe, who always comforted her to see: her brother, Caim.
When she was by his side, Furiae didn't want to believe in anything but a reality. She wanted to hide her doubts and fears away so they didn't emerge, not wanting to accept death for his sake. And if he was an illusion? Furiae was uncertain of what she would do - for if she broke this illusion, what awaited her thereafter?
But when she was alone and away from him, when she rose before the early sun as she had for years since becoming the seal, doubt could be found in her heart and mind.
Was this all nothing more but the deceit of death?
